General Instructions :
(i) There are four questions (20 marks each) in this paper totaling 80 marks. Rest 20 marks are for viva-voice.
(ii) Test the macros created by you (wherever needed).
(ii) write all the steps which you have performed in your answer-script.
(iv) Print the files, if required and possible, otherwise write partial data input and output in your answer-script.
(v) Make suitable assumptions, if any.

1. Create an MS Word document with the following details:
(a) Write a paragraph on the "Music and Arts" of India.
(b) Find all the occurrences of the word "Arts" and replace it by "Arts and Culture".
(c)Set the left margin to 1” and right margin to 5” for the entire document.
(d) Change the font size to 14 points and change the line spacing to 1.5.
(e) Protect the document by a password. The password should be "abc".

2. Perform the following activities using MS-Windows: [20]
(a) Install a new printer and make it sharable.
(b) Defragment the disk.
(c) Change the display settings as well as colour.
(d) Find the list of all active processes and applications.
(e) Find the system information, including IP address, if any.

3. Perform the following activities using MS-PowerPoint:
(a) Create four slides each of different type.
(b) Use different file transitions for the slides.
(c) The slide show should have the current date and slide number.
(d) Demonstrate how you will print the black and white handout having 3 slides per page.

4. (a) Write a macro that inputs a text box at the cursor position. The text box should contain IGNOU.
(b) Create a data file of 5 of your friends and create mailing labels for these friends using mailmerge facilities.
