Introduction
IGNOU PHDFN - Doctor of Philosophy in Food & Nutrition Programme provides an opportunity for research in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics.IGNOU PHDFN Eligibility Criteria:
- An M Phil Degree and a Masters Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or an equivalent grade from a recognised institution of higher learning.
OR
- A Masters Degree (MSc) in Food and Nutrition or an equivalent grade from a recognized institution and 5 years teaching/industry/professional/public service experience (in an area related to nutrition/dietetics) at senior level.
Course Work
All students eligible for PhD would be required to enroll simultaneously and successfully complete the Course 'Research Methods and Biostatistics" (MFN-009). However, students with an M Phil shall be exempted from taking the Research Methods and Biostatistics Course, on the recommendation of the Doctoral Committee.IGNOU PHDFN Duration:
