IGNOU MTM Admission, Eligibility & Fee

IGNOU offers Master of Arts (Tourism Management) (MTM) course in both its January and July sessions. The MTM Programme is designed for those students who are interested in pursuing a career in tourism sector at managerial level. This is for aspiring entrepreneurs or those running their own tourism agencies. The programme consists of four semesters:

Eligibility for MTM:

There are two different categories in this section. If you are eligible for any of the following two categories then you can take admission in Master of Arts (Tourism Management) (MTM).

Category 1:
BTS, BA (Tourism); OR
B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration (BHM); OR
Bachelor’s in Hotel Management (approved by AICTE) and those students who have done their graduation in any field along with a Diploma in Tourism, which is recognized in the University System or by AICTE.

Category 2 :
A Bachelor’s Degree in any field. (However, all students of Category 2 will have to pass four additional Tourism foundation courses during their period of study.)
