IGNOU Offers "Round the Year Admission" to its Programs under the 'Walk-in-Admission' Scheme. Candidates can obtain admission application forms from Regional Centre, Student Registration Divisions (SRD), and IGNOU Headquarters and also can download the Prospectus and application form by visiting the following links.

Candidates can submit the same only at the Regional Centers concerned either by post or in person. Application forms can also be submitted online and program fee can be paid online through the internet payment gateway.


  1. Go to your nearest IGNOU Regional Center and buy common prospectus or download it by visiting the following link. IGNOU ADPD Prospectus
  2. Make a Demand Draft (DD) of the required fee (fees of 1st year/semester only) in favor of IGNOU payable at your Regional Center.
  3. Fill in the ADMISSION FORM and IDENTITY CARD that can be found inside the prospectus.
  4. Affix photograph and enclose the following attested copies.
    • Certificates in support of your educational qualification(s).
    • Experience Certificate wherever required.
    • Category Certificate for SC/ST/Non-creamy Layer of OBC/PH/Kashmiri Migrant/War Widow candidates wherever required.
    • Age Certificate wherever required.
    • Student Card duly filed in along with photograph.
    • Acknowledgement Card duly stamped.
    • Copy of ID card if Employee of IGNOU/KVS
  5. Submit it to the IGNOU Regional Center where you want to get admission.
