1. (a) Define "decanting problems". Discus a methodology to solve a decanting problem. Suppose you have three jugs with capacities 8, 5, .3 litres but none are calibrated. Jug A is filled with 8 litres of milk. Suggest a methodology to divide this 8 litres ofmilk into two equal parts. (10)
(b) Find the smallest prime P such that
Q = 2 x 3 x 5 ... x P + 1 is a composite number?
What are the prime factors of Q? What are the next two such composite Q's ? (5)
(c) What is "Format Painter" of MS Excel? How is it applied? (5)
(d) Explain the functioning of following commands w.r.t. Netscape Navigator : (10)
