General Instructions :
(i) There are four questions (20 marks each) in this paper totaling 80 marks. Rest 20 marks are for viva-voice.
(ii) Test the macros created by you (wherever needed).
(ii) write all the steps which you have performed in your answer-script.
(iv) Print the files, if required and possible, otherwise write partial data input and output in your answer-script.
(v) Make suitable assumptions, if any.

1. Perform the following activities using MS-Word document:
(a) Insert a table containing information about useful websites.
(b) Create a hyperlink for each of the websites in the table.
(c) Insert a paragraph about IGNOU.
(d) Demonstrate the autotext feature that on entering IGNOU enters “Indira Gandhi National Open University”.
(e) Insert at least one clip art in your text.

2. Perform the following activities using MS-Windows:
(a) Create a new dial-up network connection.
(b) Check the disk for any errors.
(c) Make the CD drive or floppy drive as sharable.
(d) Change the menu display and screen saver.
(e) Change the mouse settings.

3. Perform the following activities using MS-PowerPoint:
(a) Create 4 slides, with at least one having simple animation.
(b) Insert a sound file in one of the slides.
(c) Enter a slide showing organisation chart at your study centre.
(d) All the slides should have a common header: “lGNOU Exam”.

4. (a) 'Write a macro that can be run using (CTRl+”a”) and changes the margin and line spacing of a document (You may change the left margin to 1" and line spacing to 2)
(b) Create a data file of five companies and send them an invitation letter for campus interviews. Use Mail merge feature of word to do so.
