All the above programmes have multi-media design and technology aided delivery system. These are offered through countrywide network of study centers.

Eligibility for Admission

1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category, with 3 years managerial/supervisory/professional experience. OR Professional Degree with 50% marks in: Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)/Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA)/Company Secretaryship (ICSI)/Law.
2. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU.
3. There is no age bar.

Filled in form for entrance test OPENMAT-XXXVII must reach Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068, by registered post / speed post on or before 15th January 2015.

Admission

Candidates who qualify entrance test can submit the registration form (Form-2) available in the 'Students Handbook & Prospectus' along with the hall ticket of entrance test, to the respective Regional Centers along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card but not later then 31st March 2015 for admission cycle starting from July, 2015.

Introduction

The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career. After acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree (BCA) at IGNOU, there is further educational opportunity to go for an MCA at IGNOU or Master’s Programme at any other University/Institute. Also after completing BCA Programme, a student should be able to get entry level job in the field of Information Technology or ITES.

Minimum 3 years and Maximum 6 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.

Walk in Admission

Candidates who qualify Entrance Test can submit the registration form (Form-2), available in the 'Student Handbook & Prospectus' along with the hall ticket of the Entrance Test, to the respective Regional Centres along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, but not later then 31st May, 2014 for admission cycles starting from July, 2014.

NOTE: Provision for online registration for admission to the successful candidates for Management Programme will be made available on the university website (www.ignou.ac.in) after the declaration of the entrance test result.

Availability of Student Handbook & Prospectus

'Student Handbook & Prospectus for Management Programme-2014', can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 and from all the Regional Centres of IGNOU by sending a sum of rupees 1050/- each through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying rupees 1000/- in cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for receipt of request for 'STUDENT HANDBOOKAND PROSPECTUS by post is 15 January, 2014.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from this website and sent along with a DD/IPO for 1050/- for Management Programme in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by Registered/Speed Post to Registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of rupees 1050/- as explained above.
