IGNOU Admission to Management Programmes 2014

Indira Gandhi National Open University will be admitting the students for the following management programmes starting from July, 2014 through an Entrance Test to be held on Sunday, 23rd February, 2014 all over the country.

All the following programmes have multi-media design, and technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres.








MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES

  1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  2. Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
  3. Diploma in Management (DIM)
  4. Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
  5. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
  6. Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
  7. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
  8. Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP)



Eligibility for Admission:

1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category, with 3 years (Post-qualification) managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience.
OR
Professional Degree with 50% marks in: Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy (ICAO/ Cost and Works Accountancy (icwAl)/ Company Secretaryship (ICSl)/ Law.

2. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU.
LAST DATE: Filled in form for Entrance Test 'OPENMAT-XXXV' must reach the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068, by Registered Post/Speed Post on or before 20 January, 2014.

NOTE: There is no age bar for admission to the above Programme. The University reserves the right to grant/deny admission to the candidates. Last date of submitting application: 20 January, 2014.

Walk in Admission

Candidates who qualify Entrance Test can submit the registration form (Form-2), available in the 'Student Handbook & Prospectus' along with the hall ticket of the Entrance Test, to the respective Regional Centres along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, but not later then 31st May, 2014 for admission cycles starting from July, 2014.

NOTE: Provision for online registration for admission to the successful candidates for Management Programme will be made available on the university website (www.ignou.ac.in) after the declaration of the entrance test result.

Availability of Student Handbook & Prospectus

'Student Handbook & Prospectus for Management Programme-2014', can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 and from all the Regional Centres of IGNOU by sending a sum of rupees 1050/- each through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying rupees 1000/- in cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for receipt of request for 'STUDENT HANDBOOKAND PROSPECTUS by post is 15 January, 2014.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from this website and sent along with a DD/IPO for 1050/- for Management Programme in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by Registered/Speed Post to Registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of rupees 1050/- as explained above.

Last Date for Admissions to IGNOU PGDHRM is 10th January 2013

Hurry Up! The last date for admissions to IGNOU PG Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) through OPENMAT-XXXIII is 10th January 2013. The entrance test will be held on 24th February 2013 all over the country.

The filled in form must reach the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068, by registered post or speed post. Student handbook and prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi and from all the Regional centers of IGNOU by paying Rs.500 in cash at the respective sale counters.


The University invites applications for admissions to the following degree/diploma programs in Management:

  1. Master in Business Administration (MBA)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO IGNOU PG DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (PGDHRM) PROGRAM

Candidates with graduation in any discipline with 50% marks (for general category) and 45% for reserved category OR Bachelor’s degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience OR Professional degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy OR Professional qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship OR Masters degree in any subject are eligible to apply.

The admission to the above programs is based on the clearance of the entrance test (OPENMAT-XXXIII). However, candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and state level tests need not appear in the Openmat-XXXIII. The cut-off percentage for these candidates shall be decided by the University, subject to a minimum of 40%. The University will not accept the score of examining bodies in terms of percentile. Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience are eligible to apply for DIM only.
